Ram Key Replacement
Ram trucks, formerly under Dodge, became a standalone brand in 2010. Modern Ram pickups use transponder keys and smart fobs with push-to-start, especially for 2013+ models. Dealer replacements can be costly and slow; locksmiths with Chrysler/Jeep/Ram-compatible programming tools often provide same-day service. Common issues include lost fobs, broken flip keys, and programming after battery replacement. Older Rams (pre-2009) use standard transponder or blade keys, still in demand for fleet and second-hand markets.
